Cybersecurity for Industry 2026: Insights from a Virtual Conference

The Cybersecurity for Industry 2026 conference provided a focused perspective on current security challenges in industrial environments. This conference which was in a fully virtual format represented a new experience for part of the audience as well as some of the speakers.

The online setup enabled broad participation, with an estimated 600 attendees joining the event. While cybersecurity should already be recognised as a core business priority, the reality across organisations still varies. In this context, the virtual format proved effective in reaching audiences that may not yet view cybersecurity as strategic, helping to highlight its real-world impact and relevance.

At the same time, the conference resonated strongly with the expert community. Sessions delivered by experienced professionals attracted both industry specialists and a broader audience, creating a well-balanced mix of participants with deep expertise and growing interest in the topic.

The programme addressed themes that are increasingly critical across the industrial sector. Speakers shared insights on evolving threats, regulatory requirements, and practical approaches to strengthening organisational resilience. A consistent message throughout the event was clear: cybersecurity now underpins all aspects of business operations.AXENTA contributed with a session titled:“From Threat to Resilience: Cybersecurity in Today’s Context,” delivered by Jan Kozák. The presentation focused on the evolving threat landscape and practical ways organisations can systematically build cyber resilience.

The conference demonstrated that virtual formats can effectively support knowledge sharing while expanding reach beyond traditional audiences—without compromising professional depth.

Thank you -ProID for organising the event and look forward to future collaboration in similar formats.
